The Pittsburgh Foundation and The Community Foundation of Westmoreland County can accept secure online donations using your credit card account. For your protection, all transactions are processed through a secure server site. You will not be required to provide a credit card number until you hit submit on this page and are taken to the secure site.

Please note that The Community Foundation of Westmoreland County is affiliated with The Pittsburgh Foundation. A donation to The Community Foundation of Westmoreland County will appear on your credit card statement as a gift to "The Pittsburgh Foundation"; this gift will be credited to the Community Foundation of Westmoreland County.

As of January 1, 1994, the Internal Revenue Service requires contemporaneous written receipt for all gifts of $250 or more.

The letter you will receive from The Pittsburgh Foundation is your IRS acceptable receipt and will serve as a confirmation that you have received no goods or service from us in exchange for your gift. Please save as proof of your charitable gift.

Canceled checks no longer constitute sufficient documentation to support a charitable tax deduction.
