Scholarship name: John E. Morris Memorial Fund

Fund was created in memory of John E. Morris, a Johnstown musician. Scholarships to provide private music lessons, especially instrumental and jazz, for needy school children in the Johnstown Area School District.

Eligibility:

• Attend high school at/in: Johnstown Area School District
• Demonstrate financial need.
• Applicant must have completed two years of instrumental music training.
• Write and submit an essay: Brief: What I like about playing an instrument.
