Scholarship name: Learning Fund

Scholarships to assist a student from Butler, New Castle, or Kittanning in pursuing a post-secondary education.

Eligibility:

• Pursue a degree or studies in: Psychology or Social Work
• Have a residence in: western PA
• Demonstrate financial need.
• Institution at which to use scholarship: four year college in Western PA
• Applicant must be a graduate of a Butler, New Castle, or Kittanning area high school and a U.S. citizen.
• Complete an application.
• Be a sophomore attending a four year college in Western PA majoring in Psychology or Social Work.
• Have a High School GPA of at least: 3.20
• Maintain a GPA of: 3.20
• Write and submit an essay: One-page essay explaining how you are involved in community service.

How to apply:

• Provide a college transcript.
• Provide a copy of the Student Aid Report (SAR).
• Provide one letter of reference.
• Write and submit an essay: One-page essay explaining how you are involved in community service.
