The Pittsburgh Foundation is working to understand the impact of the financial crisis and to devise strategies to insure that long-term investments in the region’s cultural vitality are not lost.

The Arts are important part of Pittsburgh's economy.  Even as we work as a safety net for human services needs of the community with programs like Neighbor-aid, we must continue to support The Arts so that we have something to look forward to when the city recovers.
