Our donors are central to our mission.  As a community foundation and tax-exempt public charity, The Pittsburgh Foundation's resources comprise endowment funds established by people with a passion for Pittsburgh and a deep commitment to the well-being of their community.

The Foundation makes it possible for a wide range of individuals, families and organizations to coordinate their charitable giving by creating permanent, named endowment funds to provide lasting support for nonprofits in western Pennsylvania and beyond.
