Khalif Ali, the Foundation's director of Public Policy and Advocacy, works closely with community-based organizations, local government, foundations and individual activists to craft and advance a policy and advocacy agenda for the Foundation. Low-income people, youth, single parents and the African American community will be at the center of his work.

The Pittsburgh Foundation engages in public policy as part of our community leadership initiatives.  Changes in public policy can lead to social and system changes. The Foundation works with community-based organizations, local government, foundations and individual activists to craft and advance a progressive policy and advocacy agenda.
