Westmoreland County Housing Authority Scholarship FundThe WCHA Scholarshp was created to benefit high school seniors and adults entering secondary education who reside in Westmoreland County Housing Authority public housing, Westmoreland Non Profit Housing Corporation housing or participate in the Section 8 Program and wish to continue their education.

Eligibility

  • Have a residence in: Westmoreland County
  • Be a WCHA Public Housing, WNPHC or Section 8 tenant for 12 months prior to application deadline.
  • Be a household member listed on the lease at time of application and award.
  • Traditional students must be registered on a full-time basis; Non-Traditional students must be enroll full-time (part-time for working adults).
  • Must be enrolled in an accredited vocational/technical course, certified trade school, or college or university degree program.
  • Traditional students must have a 3.0 (B) grade point average or better.
