The Pittsburgh Foundation

StoryCorps at The Pittsburgh Foundation

In April 2016, The Pittsburgh Foundation invited StoryCorps – a nonprofit that records, preserves and shares the stories of Americans from all backgrounds and beliefs – to the Center for Philanthropy. For three days, facilitators led donors, advisors, board members and staff through wide-ranging conversations covering history, family and philanthropy in the Pittsburgh community. These recorded conversations will be archived at the American Folklife Center at the Library of Congress. Here are a few that reflect the values of community philanthropy.
