Salary: Starting at $58,400
We are actively seeking a dynamic and proficient Salesforce and IT support specialist to assist the IT team in a pivotal Salesforce and NetSuite implementation project for our organization. This role calls for an adept individual who can offer Salesforce support and assist the IT team in technical and AV support.
The ideal candidate will have experience as a Salesforce Administrator and basic IT support experience. The candidate will have a genuine enthusiasm for using technology to effectuate positive social change and possess a blend of strategic insight, technical prowess and a passion for community impact.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Salesforce Support (70%)
- Provide first-level support and troubleshooting during the implementation and design of Salesforce.
- Provide first-level support and troubleshooting for Salesforce-related issues reported by end users.
- Assist users with basic navigation, functionality and feature usage within Salesforce.
- Monitor Salesforce data quality and integrity; identify and resolve data discrepancies.
- Collaborate with Tier 2 support and Salesforce developers to escalate and resolve complex issues.
- Create and maintain user accounts, profiles, roles and permission sets.
- Assist in the development and documentation of Salesforce processes and procedures.
- Assist in training sessions for end users on Salesforce functionality and best practices.
- Stay updated on Salesforce releases, features and best practices to provide proactive support and recommendations.
- Participate in testing new Salesforce features and functionality before deployment.
Technical Support for Laptops and AV Equipment (30%)
- Assist in first-level support for laptop-related issues, including setup, configuration and troubleshooting of hardware and software problems. Work closely with the IT team to escalate and resolve more complex hardware or AV issues.
- Assist users with basic IT tasks such as password resets, software installations and network connectivity.
- Assist in support of AV equipment setup and troubleshooting, including projectors, video conferencing systems and audio systems.
- Maintain documentation of common issues and solutions to streamline future support requests.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience as a Salesforce Administrator or in a similar role with Salesforce administration responsibilities.
- Basic IT support experience, particularly with laptops and AV equipment.
- Solid understanding of Salesforce.com architecture and data model.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Salesforce Administrator certification (preferred).
- Basic knowledge of AV systems and laptop troubleshooting.
