Jennie rejoined The Pittsburgh Foundation in November 2020 as chief of staff and strategic implementation, a role that focuses on optimizing the effectiveness of the organization by designing and implementing organization-wide strategies and by managing the execution of internal business and delivery systems. Prior to her return, she served as a senior director at the philanthropic advisory firm, 21/64, where she co-led advisor trainings and helped professional advisors from diverse backgrounds build transformational relationships with their clients, and worked with individuals and families on their personal philanthropy.

In her previous role at the Foundation as director of development, Jennie worked closely with professional advisors to create lasting philanthropic legacies and tax advantages for their clients. She also worked as a marriage and family therapist specializing in the use of Bowen Family Systems Theory to enhance individual functioning in the context of families, organizations and communities.

Jennie is a graduate of Westminster College, in New Wilmington, Pennsylvania, and a summa cum laude graduate of Seton Hill University’s master’s program.  She lives in Pittsburgh’s North Side, with her husband Roger and their dog, Maddie.
