Kente Arts Alliance plans to present 12 ticketed concerts over the next two years and complete a pilot program of the Racial Justice Fund for youth programming. Kente will partner with other arts organizations in identifying and admitting Black youth into a summer arts program/camp designed to introduce small children to music of various genres in hopes of heightening their awareness of and interest in new sounds. The organization will also continue the “Kente at Home” series offered during the spring and summer to provide safe virtual/hybrid alternatives to programming, offering both live and streamed programming at City of Asylum.
