Amie Olson joined The Pittsburgh Foundation in July 2024 as senior donor services officer. In this role, she will be working with donors to explore the intersection of their personal philanthropic goals and community needs. Amie's deep personal connection to The ALS Association, stemming from the loss of her father to the disease, fuels her lifelong commitment to philanthropy.
Before joining the Foundation, Amie spent seven years leading fundraising initiatives for The ALS Association in western Pennsylvania and more recently in Kentucky. She played a pivotal role in the founding and expansion of one of their signature events, the CEO Soak in PPG Plaza, and enhanced the Walk to Defeat ALS program. Most recently, she led the development team in the Pittsburgh office of The ALS Associations their director of development. Prior to her tenure there, Amie supported the development and communications efforts at YWCA Greater Pittsburgh.
A lifelong Pittsburgher, Amie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in sport, arts, and entertainment management with a focus in nonprofit management from Point Park University. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, crafting and spending quality time with her husband, Jeremy, and their toddler, Eloise.
