Amy K. Marsh
Amy Marsh joined the Board of The Pittsburgh Foundation in 2021. She is a longtime member of the Foundation’s investment committee. Marsh is the former chief investment officer and treasurer of the University of Pittsburgh, where she was responsible for managing the assets and liabilities of the University and its endowment. Prior to her work at Pitt, Marsh was a commercial banker with Mellon Financial Corp., where she held various positions in corporate banking, structured finance and capital markets.
She serves as a director of the board and president of the Hershey Trust Company and a manager of the board of the Milton Hershey School. She also chairs the trust administration, finance and investment committee for these two boards and serves on their talent & compensation committee. Marsh is a director of the board for two institutional investor funds managed by Global Forest Partners LP and is a past director of the board of the Federal Farm Credit Bank Funding Corporation.
Marsh is a member of the investment committees of the Claude Worthington Benedum Foundation and the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. She is also a trustee emerita of Sewickley Academy, where she continues to serve as a member of its endowment committee.
She earned her master’s in management in finance, economics and accounting from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. She earned her bachelor’s in mathematics and business administration from Wittenberg University.
