Brianna Ziemak was named funds manager in January 2019. In this role, which is critical to the operation of a perpetually operated endowment, she ensures that all funds are in full compliance with legal and financial requirements and that they fulfill donor intent. Brianna liaises primarily with the Development and Donor Services department, providing vital internal process support, including the ongoing review and maintenance of legal and fund agreements. She also leads the Trust Administration Committee, in which staff members are authorized by the Foundation’s board to provide fund oversight, including revisions to fund purpose if the originally named purpose becomes obsolete.
Prior to this, Brianna was a trust document analyst at BNY Mellon, where she reviewed banking contracts and trusts and oversaw the work of an analyst team. She also worked for the law firm of Berger and Green preparing cases for social security hearings. She is a graduate of Kent State University where she majored in political science with an international relations/comparative politics concentration and minored as a paralegal. She lives in Cecil with her husband, Chris, their son and adopted dogs Mika and Luna. In her free time, Brianna enjoys reading, gardening and cooking (and eating) pasta.
