The Harv and Laurel Saylor Charitable Fund was established to support animal welfare during Harv and Laurel Saylor's lifetime and beyond.

One of their biggest influences in the development of the charitable fund was a loyal and playful black lab rescue, named Jade whom they adopted from a local animal shelter. She was a member of their family for 12 years. After Jade passed away, Harv and Laurel were inspired to create a fund to further enrich animals lives with the thought of giving back some of the joy that 4-legged family members bring.

Their charitable fund was brought to reality when they were introduced to the Pittsburgh Foundation while developing a pet trust for Cole, their second black lab shelter rescue whom they adopted in April 2013.
