Arthur Ebbert established the fund with The Pittsburgh Foundation in memory of his father, "a former devoted resident of Pittsburgh." Unfortunately, very little is known about either Arthur or his father.
The fund supports the University of Virginia on an annual basis and helped to fund the James Turrell exhibition at the Andy Warhol Museum.
