James A. Fox and Elizabeth M. Fox Funds

Elizabeth M. Fox was a devoted member of First Presbyterian Church of Greensburg, an active member of the church’s women’s association and Rebecca Circle. She was also part of the Greensburg Women’s Club and other civil organizations. Elizabeth and her husband, Dr. James A. Fox, resided in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, where James practiced medicine. The couple had no children, and Elizabeth was the last surviving member of the family after her husband’s death. Elizabeth died in September 1979 at age 74. The James A. Fox and Elizabeth M. Fox Fund was established after Elizabeth’s death.
Because of her dedication as a member, the funds are distributed annually to First Presbyterian Church of Greensburg and Presbytery of Redstone of Greensburg.
