Hayley Haldeman
Hayley Haldeman joined the board of directors in August 2026.
Hayley is an attorney and nonprofit leader with extensive experience in nonprofit strategy, governance and administration, particularly within arts and cultural organizations. Since March 2024, she has served as chief administrative officer of the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, where she oversees organizational strategy, board governance, shared services, human resources and Arts Landing, the Trust’s new four-acre civic space.
Previously, Hayley practiced law with Dentons Cohen & Grigsby’s Nonprofit and Tax-Exempt Organizations group, advising nonprofits on complex legal and governance matters. She also served as executive director of the Mattress Factory, a contemporary installation art museum in Pittsburgh, after working for seven years as a litigator with Jones Day.
A Pittsburgh native, Hayley is active in civic and community affairs. Governor Josh Shapiro appointed her as chair of the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission in 2023, and she is a board member of the United Way of Southwestern Pennsylvania. Hayley has taught multiple courses as an adjunct professor in Carnegie Mellon University’s Master of Arts Management program. She is a graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law and George Washington University and currently lives in the South Hills with her husband and three children.
