The Ira Weiss Education Fund was established in 2023 by Ira’s colleagues at Weiss Burkardt Kramer LLC to celebrate and honor his 50 years of dedicated service in the field of education and municipal law. The fund will provide grants to organizations and programs that provide or support public elementary or secondary education. The fund may also award individual grants to public school students pursuing post-secondary opportunities relating to the law or legal studies. Ira’s partners and current firm owners, Jocelyn Kramer and Megan Turnbull, established the fund to recognize and continue his longstanding legacy of supporting public education.
