Matt Nienhuis joined The Pittsburgh Foundation in June of 2025 as guest experience coordinator. In this role, he facilitates the use of the events space at our new location, bringing together donors, leaders, organizers, grantees, stakeholders and more to participate in dynamic and productive meetings, seminars and convenings.
Prior to this role, Matt served as the operations manager at Hello Neighbor and has also worked for a variety of small businesses in the fields of logistics, sales, and office management.
Matt lives in Highland Park with his wife, two children and an aloof cat. In his free time he enjoys collecting records, making regrettable dad jokes and occasionally playing the role of a serviceable bassist.
