Nonprofit Federal Policy Response Network (NFPRN)
The Pennsylvania Association of Nonprofit Organizations (PANO) and The Pittsburgh Foundation have joined forces to create the Nonprofit Federal Policy Response Network—a collaborative initiative designed to empower nonprofit leaders in southwestern Pennsylvania.
This bi-monthly virtual meeting series is tailored to the needs of participants and offers a trusted space to:
- Understand emerging federal policy changes and how they may affect nonprofit organizations and the communities they serve.
- Share experiences with peers and learn how other organizations are adapting and reimagining their work.
- Explore how advocacy can be incorporated into your organization’s work, including understanding what nonprofits can legally do and how to collaborate on advocacy efforts.
- Learn about helpful resources available to nonprofits to respond to federal changes, including advocacy opportunities, capacity-building tools and technical assistance.
- Explore opportunities for regional collaboration among nonprofits, philanthropy and community partners.
Our goal is to create a trusted space for nonprofit leaders at all organizational levels to stay informed, share insights and work collectively to ensure southwestern Pennsylvania’s communities continue to have the support they need.
Who Should Attend?
Nonprofit organizations across the 10-county southwestern Pennsylvania region are encouraged to participate, including those in: Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Fayette, Greene, Lawrence, Somerset, Washington and Westmoreland counties.
