The Henry P. Spilker Crippled Children Brace Fund benefits Easter Seals Western and Central Pennsylvania, Shriners Hospitals for Children in Philadelphia, and the Children's Institute of Pittsburgh. It has also given to the Rehabilitation Institute of Pittsburgh in support of its Free Care Fund.

The fund was originally established in 1946 by Henry P. Spilker, the chairman of the Allegheny County Society for Crippled Children. It was later transferred to The Pittsburgh Foundation in 1974. The fund has provided support to families of children with disabilities who need assistive devices such as braces. It also supports the general operating costs of the hospitals and health care providers it benefits.
