The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Greensburg) Fund was started in 2002 at The Community Foundation of Westmoreland County. The fund was started with a nearly $10,000 contribution from the estate of Sara “Sally” Jane Werry Poole. The fund makes grants to the Greensburg Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Poole died in 2000 at the age of 70. In the 1950s she was involved in the March of Dimes fund-raising movement. In a statement to the Daily Courier in 1956, she talked about how polio was on its way to eradication but that people living with the disease still needed support.
