Join us for an insightful discussion with financial and legal experts on the importance of charitable planning and how to be prepared for changes that may affect your year-end giving. We will update you on the Legacy Funds (the portfolio in which your charitable fund is invested) and charitable tax law. We will discuss the current market climate and the investment strategies of the Legacy Investment pool and creative tax planning through charitable giving. Lunch will also be served making it a fulfilling experience all around.

Jonathan Brelsford is responsible for the Foundation’s oversight and management of its investments working in liaison with the organization’s President and CEO, its investment consultants and its Board of Directors. While at Mellon Global Securities Lending, he specialized in European financial institutions and asset-backed commercial paper conduits. He has over 10 years experience in the finance industry working as a mortgage underwriter for NVR Mortgage and in commercial and retail banking for Century National Bank. He also was Director of Professional Services for Personity, a Pittsburgh-based technology startup. Jonathan serves on the Boards of Steeltown Entertainment Project and Nucleus and he is a member of the Finance Committee of Grantmakers of Western Pennsylvania.
