Community Health Assessment Meeting: District 11
When: Thursday, October 9, 2014 from 6:30 - 8 p.m.
Where: Carnegie Library of Homestead [510 E. 10th Avenue, Homestead, PA]
The community meeting serves as an opportunity to disseminate information about the current health of Allegheny County and engage the public in a community discussion about health issues. Residents are encouraged to attend the meeting in their County Council District but are also welcome to attend any of the other meetings.
Our Health, Our Voice is the theme of the Allegheny County Health Department’s public outreach campaign as it shares key information about the County population’s health and hear from residents about what issues are affecting their community’s health. The meetings are critical to helping the Health Department and residents work together to create a countywide health improvement plan and move toward a common vision of making Allegheny County the healthiest county in the nation.
The meeting at Carnegie Library of Homestead is in Council District 11, which includes Arlington, Arlington Heights, Bedford Dwellings, Glen Hazel, Hays, Hazelwood, Greenfield, Lincoln Place, Mt.Oliver, St. Clair, New Homestead, Point Breeze, Point Breeze North, Regent Square, Shadyside, South Side Slopes, Squirrel Hill North/South, Swisshelm Park, Homestead, Munhall, and West Homestead.
