The Sarah Rogers John Memorial Fund, established in 1989 by Mrs. John’s four children, supports an award given to each year’s valedictorian at Uniontown Area High School. Mrs. John graduated from Uniontown in 1932 and the award is presented in her honor during the high school’s commencement ceremony.
