Fall Donor Event: Octoberfest in Deutschtown
Octoberfest in Deutschtown
When: Thursday, October, 8, 2015 from 4-7 p.m.
Where: Teutonia Mannerchor [857 Phineas Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15212]
By invitation only
Donors will celebrate our community's roots in Pittsburgh's historic Deutschtown neighborhood. We'll enjoy cocktails, authentic German fare and live music at the Teutonia Mannerchor, a German singing hall founded in 1854. We'll also explore the past, present and future of the surrounding North Side on a guided bus tour led by experts from the Pittsburgh History & Landmarks Foundation. Afterward, we'll return to the Mannerchor for an Oktoberfest celebration featuring a welcome from Pittsburgh Foundation President Maxwell King, who will also introduce our city's favorite storyteller, Rick Sebak.
Valet parking will be provided.
