Debra Demchak

Debra Kline Demchak joined the Foundation’s Board of Directors in July of 2022. In December 2023, she was appointed chair of the Development and Donor Services committee.

Demchak was born in Pittsburgh and raised in Miami. After graduating from Smith College in 1989, she was a vice president in fixed institutional bond sales at JP Morgan in New York City. In 2002, Demchak returned to Pittsburgh with her husband and three children. Since moving back to the Steel City, she has dedicated much of her time to organizations working to continue Pittsburgh’s growth.

Demchak serves on the Pittsburgh Promise Board of Directors executive committee as secretary and is co-chair of the development committee. She is also the endowment chair on the committee of trustees for Shady Side Academy, co-chair of the investment committee for the Highmark Health board of directors and is a member of Fred Rogers Productions board of directors. Demchak is also a trustee emeritus of Bethlehem Haven.
