New Philanthropic Leaders Pitch-In Party
Party with a purpose: Join us for the New Philanthropic Leaders Pitch-In Party!
WHEN: Thursday, Oct. 26, 2023, from 6 to 8 p.m.
WHERE: Energy Innovation Center, Covestro Brightspace, 1435 Bedford Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15219
On Oct. 26, join us in celebrating three local nonprofit organizations receiving New Philanthropic Leaders grants for out-of-school time programs that S.T.E.M. educational opportunities to BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) students in middle school.
Join the New Philanthropic Leaders when staff from the three finalist nonprofits share their stories of service. Your ticket includes a $20 “vote” that you will donate to the participating organization of your choice. Grants from the New Philanthropic Leaders and The Pittsburgh Foundation, totaling more than $30,000, will be added to funds crowdsourced at the party and will be divided among these three exceptional nonprofits at the end of the night.
We invite you to listen to powerful stories, meet new people, enjoy refreshments and celebrate organizations helping our neighbors access affordable housing.
The pitch-in party is the culmination of The Pittsburgh Foundation’s fifth New Philanthropic Leaders program, a group of young and mid-career professionals who have spent the last year exploring crucial issues affecting our region.
This event is open to the public:

There is free parking in the EIC lot after 5:30 p.m., as well as free street parking available along Bedford Avenue.
