Richard I. (Rick) Lerach, CFP®, AIF®, is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM  professional who joined the Foundation’s Board of Directors in June 2023 and serves on its Development and Donor Services Committee. He has 20 years of experience in investment management, insurance and advanced planning.

Lerach is principal and managing partner at Atmos Advisory. Before that, he served as director at Pittsburgh-based Gateway Financial, a national independent insurance advisory firm, Lerach advances business development, which involves creating and managing relationships with clients and professional advisors.

Lerach has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Pennsylvania State University and is an alumnus of Leadership Pittsburgh’s Class of XXXII. He also completed the University of Pittsburgh’s Institute for Entrepreneurial Excellence’s Entrepreneurial Fellows program.

Since 2005, Lerach has served in leadership positions on the boards of the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh, the Mt. Lebanon Community Foundation, the Financial Planning Association (FPA) of Pittsburgh, the Estate Planning Council of Pittsburgh, and St. Paul’s Episcopal Church’s Endowment Fund.
