In 2022 and 2023, 1Hood will reorganize operations and enhance programming to advance its mission, vision and values and build capacity for long-term sustainability. This work will be led by a collective of diversely skilled creative professionals rooted in Black Pittsburgh through lived experience, critical inquiry and an unyielding commitment to Black liberation. New consultants and staff in the planning, development, marketing, administration and digital media sectors will help accomplish this reorganization and expansion, furthering 1Hood’s overarching goal of providing multiple platforms to amplify the authentic representation of Black experiences and desires.
