Responding to the COVID-19 pandemic is the greatest challenge to community life The Pittsburgh Foundation has faced in its 75-year history. We are mobilizing all resources and personnel to protect the physical, emotional and economic health of our community, especially the most vulnerable among us. Our staff and board are amazed and humbled by the acts of generosity and personal assistance our community has provided in this unprecedented public health and financial crisis. Here are the donations to the fund thus far. To date, gifts of $1.25 million have been made by donors from their advised funds at The Pittsburgh Foundation. Donations of $400,000 have been made by the public. Gifts from businesses, foundations and corporations total $3,724,180.
