In 1995, Dorothy Snyder established the Rose Snyder Scholarship Fund at The Pittsburgh Foundation in memory of her mother.
Since established, the fund has provided scholarships to vocal music students with an interest in sacred/gospel, light opera, classical music or musicals at Carnegie Mellon University, Duquesne University and Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
