$2.1 million awarded for scientific research
Awards include $300,000 for program pairing undergraduates with innovative scientists PITTSBURGH, Pa., Aug. 30, 2018 – To stimulate innovative collaboration among young scientific researchers and later-career investigators, The Board of the Charles E. Kaufman Foundation, a supporting organization of The Pittsburgh Foundation, has awarded 10 scientific research grants totaling $1.9 million.

Three Conneaut Lake organizations awarded grants by Dietrich Foundation
The Dietrich Foundation Conneaut Lake, PA Fund of The Pittsburgh Foundation has awarded $7,934 to Conneaut Lake-area organizations this year. Grantees this year are the Ice House Park, the Conneaut Lake Historical Society and the Girl Scouts of Western Pennsylvania.
Dietrich Foundation Greenville, PA fund gives grants to six area organizations
The Dietrich Foundation Greenville, PA Fund of The Pittsburgh Foundation has awarded $25,806 to Greenville area organizations this year.
