John C. Yencha Memorial Medical Scholarship
The John C. Yencha Memorial Medical Scholarship Fund was established to assist students from Mount Pleasant Area High School who will pursue studies in the medical field.
Average Award: Up to $6,000 over up to 4 years
Award Type: Multi-year Award (up to 4 years)
Application Period Opens: 1/16/2025
Application Period Closes: 4/1/2025
Criteria
- Attend Mount Pleasant Area High School as a graduating senior.
- Pursue a degree or studies in the medical field.
- Demonstrate financial need.
- Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5
- Plan to attend an accredited vocational or technical trade school OR a 2- or 4-year college or university.
How to Apply
- Complete the essay section of the application.
- Submit your FAFSA Submission Summary (FSS). If you have not already received your FSS, you can do so by applying for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
- Submit one letter of reference from an individual who is not related to you.
- Submit your unofficial transcripts.
