C. A. Ensign Fund

The C. A. Ensign Fund was created at The Pittsburgh Foundation to provide a scholarship for a graduating senior, preferably a minority student, at Newton Falls High School, Newton Falls, Ohio, who shows interest and talent in English and journalism.

Criteria

  • Attend Newton Falls High School in Newton Falls, OH as a graduating senior.
  • Demonstrate financial need.
  • Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0.
  • Plan to attend an accredited vocational or technical trade school OR 2-or 4-year college or university.
  • Preference will be given to to those who display special talent or interest in English and/or Journalism, and those who identify as historically underserved (Asian, African, Black/African American; Hispanic, Latino; American Indian, Alaska Native; Native Hawaiian, Pacific Islander).
