Keith A. Demmler Memorial Scholarship Fund
The Keith A. Demmler Memorial Scholarship Fund was created at The Pittsburgh Foundation to provide scholarships to students graduating from Valley High School in New Kensington, PA.
Average Award: $5,000 Over 4 Years
Award Type: Multi-Year (up to 4 years).
Application Period Opens: 1/16/2025
Application Period Closes: 4/1/2025
Criteria
- Attend Valley High School as a graduating senior.
- Demonstrate financial need.
- Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0.
- Plan to attend an accredited vocational or technical trade school OR 2-or 4-year college or university.
- Preference will be given to students who are active in sports and/or extracurricular activities.
How to Apply
- Complete the application by clicking the blue button above.
- Complete the essay section of the application.
- Submit your FAFSA Submission Summary (FSS). If you have not already received your FSS, you can do so by applying for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
- Submit two letters of reference from individuals unrelated to you. one should be from a guidance counselor and one from a teacher.
- Submit your unofficial transcripts.
