Richard A. and Charlotte Cohn Memorial Scholarship Fund The Richard A. and Charlotte Cohn Memorial Scholarship Fund was created at The Pittsburgh Foundation to honor Richard A. and Charlotte Cohn who touched the lives of many young people from all walks of life. The scholarships will be awarded to members of Temple Emanuel of South Hills whose accomplishments and character merit this award.

Criteria

  • Attend high school as a graduating senior.
  • Have demonstrated service to Temple Emanuel and/or participated in other Jewish communal activities through high school.
  • Plan to attend an accredited vocational or technical trade school OR 2-or 4-year college or university.
  • Be a student with parent(s)/guardian(s) who are members in good standing of Temple Emanuel of South Hills.

  • Complete the essay section of the application.
  • Submit two letters of reference from individuals not related to you.
  • Submit your unofficial transcripts.
