Patrick Munn Memorial Scholarship Fund The Patrick Munn Memorial Scholarship Fund was established at The Pittsburgh Foundation in memory of Patrick Munn who passed away unexpectedly on November 5, 2022. Patrick's passion for education will endure through this scholarship fund for college/university students who share his kind spirit and his enthusiasm for band.

Criteria

  • Attend one of the following high schools as a graduating senior: Aliquippa, Ambridge, Avonworth, Beaver, Centeral Valley, Freedom, Hopewell, Keystone Oaks, New Castle, Quaker Valley.
  • Demonstrate financial need.
  • Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
  • Plan to attend a four-year college or university.
  • Be a member of the school marching band.
  • Preference will be given to to students who demonstrate financial need and who have exhibited kindness and compassion in their daily lives.

How to Apply

  • Complete the essay section of the application.
  • Submit your FAFSA Submission Summary (FSS). If you have not already received your FSS, you can do so by applying for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
  • Submit one letter of reference from someone unrelated to you.
  • Submit your unofficial transcripts.
