Joseph "Murph" Irwin Memorial Scholarship Fund The Joseph "Murph" Irwin Memorial Scholarship Fund was created at The Pittsburgh Foundation to provide scholarships to high school seniors who graduated from St. Louise de Marillac School.

Criteria

  • Attend high school as a graduating senior.
  • Graduated from St. Louise de Marillac grade school located in Pittsburgh, PA.
  • Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.3.
  • Plan to attend an accredited vocational or technical trade school OR 2-or 4-year college or university within the United States.
  • Be someone who participated in at least one varsity or junior varsity sport while in high school.

How to Apply

  • Complete the essay section of the application.
  • Submit your Student Aid Report (SAR). If you have not already received your SAR, you can do so by applying for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
  • Submit two letters of reference ( one from a high school teacher and the other from a high school coach).
  • Submit a statement containing the year graduated from St. Louise de Marillac School.
