The Pittsburgh Foundation’s Social Justice Fund awarded $25,000 to Let’s Get Free: The Women & Trans Prisoner Defense Committee in 2021. The organization is motivated by an ethos of reducing harm and violence as a Women and Trans Prisoner Defense committee.  

The Pittsburgh Foundation’s Social Justice Fund awarded $25,000 to Voter Engagement Empowerment and Enrichment Movement in 2021. The organization was created to increase voter turnout in the Greater Pittsburgh area.  

The Pittsburgh Foundation’s Social Justice Fund awarded $25,000 to Black Women for a Better Education in 2021. The organization was created as an education advocacy group. 

The Pittsburgh Foundation’s Social Justice Fund awarded $25,000 to Black Dream Escape in 2021. The organization was created to educate, guide and soothe people into a rested state using original music and meditation scripts.
